Yeah, I would also go the route of eating a better, more protein rich


Diet. Lots of sardines, instead of tuna. Steaks with all the fat if it doesn’t break the bank. Lots of eggs. Limit sugar intake. He will be a muscle machine in no time. Wish I knew that stuff at his age. I wasn’t really aware of real lifting or real nutrition until college, and still managed to make it to high levels at Tech on the track team. Could have done much more though.
